Alan Freed's promotion of the music spread it all over the U.S. of A., across the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans to the rest of the world. BUT which song was the very first in this genre of music ? Who was the first artist to record a Rock and Roll song ?
It has been said that JIMMY PRESTON was the first Rock and Roll artist and I have yet to come across someone with an opposing view !
