HTML

Hypertext Markup Language ! I spent the whole evening in Kinokuniya and Border's browsing through books in their Internet and Computer sections searching for books, written for semi-retards, which taught HTML and how to build a website. You dont have to remind me that since I am looking at these specialised books for Dummies and Idiots, I would be considered one of them.

A picture is worth a thousand words ! Now who said that ? Confucius ? Have you ever wondered why he was named Confucius ? Nevermind, this is getting a bit too confusing.

Anyway, back to HTML. I am a dedicated reader of Super Blogger Ranoadidas's blogs and am inspired by his work. He uses photos, motion graphics and illustrations to tell his stories so professionally. That's what I want to learn to do. That's why I am trying to learn HTML and Photoshop and....Widgets and Gadgets. Good Grief !...... there are so many things to learn !

Google's AdSense is starting to insert Ads into my blogsite, you may have noticed. Did you see the one about how to get rid of Man Boobs ? Apart from Google Ads I have to use the Copy and Paste features of Windows to illustrate my site but I have to be very very careful not to violate copyright laws. It is safer to know how to create your own graphics.

This is a bit dry huh!? What do you expect ? Monday morning Blues, man!

  1. Hi Dad,

I am really impressed with the blogs. I had no idea that you have a blog site so all of this is surprising to me (but in a very nice pleasant way!). I really like reading about the food articles. Basically, we are a very much a foodie family.

Please keep up the good work. It's really cool and awesome. I hope to read more of your culinary excursions (both good and bad). Lots of opportunities for that in Singapore!

    love,

    Aaron

PS; As I am turning 40 years old this year, the most important thing I have learnt in 40 years is that ... you are only as old as you think you are. And there's never such a thing as "too old" for anything. And don't let anyone (including yourself) tell you otherwise.

    PPS; It's spelt "diarrhoea"

  2. OD,

Actually, I posted a comment way back when you had the article about 'diarrhea'... it has two "r's", one "h", and may include an "o" or not...

At that time, I was wondering if you had one too many the night before you wrote about the vengeance of Montezuma...

If you did, why was i not invited?!? Csk!!

    Mwahahaha!!
